![](/files/y7DxJf6iCobSMaFgWnVv)

The Custom tab shows active challenges of everyone you follow.

Users vote by clicking the vote button <img src="/files/ZWtzYcvS9TYlzZXB1Yfg" alt="" data-size="line"> below the video they like most.

Casting a vote costs 1 VOTE token which is equivalent to $0.10 CAD.

The winning video earns between 1-25% of all VOTE tokens used during the challenge.

The closer the vote count ends up being, the larger the cut that the creator receives. This incentivizes creators to look for fair challenges.

The rest is distributed to all those who voted for it to win in the form of SKILL tokens.

Voters also continue to share in the success by earning royalties every time a video they voted for is sold on any marketplace.

Challenges last 72h.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://allskills.gitbook.io/whitepaper/mechanics/challenge-system.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
